Happy almost December!
I am over here happily adding some final touches to my holiday decor while listening to Lauren Daigle’s Christmas CD Behold.
Her voice and the arrangements on this Christmas CD make me heart happy.
And that’s a pretty perfect beginning to the holiday season in my book.
Today is one of my favorite blogging days of the year as my blogging friends and I share for the annual Blogger’s Best Holiday Home Tour.
A lot of work goes into organizing these hops so I’d like to give a big shout-out to Kelly from The Tattered Pew, so thank you, Kelly! If you are stopping by from my friend Jen’s at Midwest Life and Style a warm welcome!
On to my part of the tour.
I love a good neutral.
Besides texture (which is my love language) neutrals are my jam.
Combined with my yearning for simplicity these days it just makes sense that I would carry that love of neutrals for my Christmas decor too.
This is my neutral Christmas bedroom from last year.
So what do I mean when I say neutrals?
I am concentrating on warm whites and creams with lots of fresh greenery and natural touches.
Champagne and gold metallics are excellent neutrals to introduce into Christmas decor.
My tour today is of our Airbnb.
I decorated this space first as the guests we had staying here last week were coming together from four different States to celebrate an early Christmas together and I wanted to give them a cozy space to celebrate in.
I started with a small Norfolk Pine tabletop tree (that I can plant in the Spring).
Adding my favorite Peace sign garland some fresh baby’s breath and faux white berries kept things simple but festive.
And lights!
I realized once I gathered the decor to start this project that I have accumulated quite the collection of trees and used these on the dining table as a centerpiece.
Keeping it simple.
Using fresh greenery- in this case live topiaries add a touch of life to the room.
As always I like to add something a little quirky and this art print has floated around several spots in my home over the years so I moved it to the Airbnb this season.
A few neutral pillows finish off the first floor.
Thank you for popping in for my quick tour.
Now you are going to want to grab a cup of coffee and check out all the gorgeous spaces my blogging friends are sharing today.
You can start here with Kelly’s tour.
Until next time,
-Libbie
