Hello! So, this year I decided to do something totally different and get my very first artificial Christmas Tree! I know, I know, I’m usually a die-hard real tree kind of person, but honestly, the last few years I have ridden the struggle bus with my Christmas Trees. Between the mess, the hassle of getting it in the stand, and then the marathon string light session (which, let’s be honest, always takes waaaaay longer than I think it will!), I was ready for a change. Plus, I’m hosting Thanksgiving this year (my youngest daughter is hosting Christmas) so I want to get my living room decked out early!
I was so excited when King of Christmas reached out and offered to gift me one of their trees to try out! Full disclosure: they sent me this 7.5 Yorkshire Fir with warm lights, but all of the opinions in this review are totally my own. And spoiler alert: I’m obsessed!
So today I am Reviewing My King Of Christmas Tree- Yorkshire Fir Tree with Lights.
1. Shipping:
First things first, the free shipping was a huge plus! The tree arrived super fast and was packed incredibly well. It even came with a storage bag, a remote control for the lights, and – get this – gloves! I thought that was a nice touch.
2. Set Up (aka the Easiest Thing Ever).
Okay, you guys, I’m not kidding when I say this was the easiest setup ever. The tree came in three pieces (all clearly marked with A, B, and C), and they literally just slid together.
I’m not exaggerating when I say it took me all of 10 minutes! I was expecting some complicated process, but nope, it was a breeze.
And it came with a sturdy metal stand, so no worries about it tipping over.
As each piece slid into place the lights came on.
3. Technology:
Remote Control: This thing is magic! Seriously, you can turn the tree lights on and off and even make them brighter or dimmer, all with the click of a button! Can you say disco party?!?!
You can also use the foot pedal to turn the tree on and off if you cannot locate the remote (not pointing any fingers here) :).
Timer: Set it and forget it! This is perfect for those of us who are always running around. You can set the timer to turn the lights on and off whenever you want. It’s a great feature for saving energy or just making sure your tree is glowing when you get home from work. Instant holiday magic!
3. Zushing (Cue the Christmas Playlist)!
The real fun begins. This is where I spent most of my time, but I took my time and enjoyed it! Those gloves definitely came in handy.
Overall, it took me about 45 minutes to get the branches and lush foliage just right.
The instructions said that the first time set up would take a bit longer because the branches need to be “fluffed” out, but that it would be much faster next year. Can’t wait to put that to the test!
4. Overall review of King Of Christmas Tree (Obsessed!)
I absolutely adore this tree! It’s the perfect tree size for my living room, and I love that the branches are spaced out enough to allow me to add ornaments inside the tree, not just on the ends. Plus, the warm lights are just gorgeous. It really does look realistic!
A few other things I love about King of Christmas Trees:
- Various heights: King of Christmas has a bunch of different sizes, so you can find the perfect tree size for your space.
- Dimensions fit-width: I was a little worried about the width, but this tree fits perfectly in my living room. They have slimmer options, too, if you’re tight on space.
- Larger trees: If you have a bigger space, they even have larger trees that would look incredible in a larger room.
Honestly, I can’t recommend this tree enough. If you’re looking for an artificial Christmas tree that’s easy to set up, looks realistic, and comes with everything you need (including a storage bag!), then definitely check out the 7. 5 Yorkshire Fir with 600 Warm White LED Lights from King of Christmas.
