Hello and welcome!
I have the most delicious summer White Wine Sangria recipe to share with you today. Although this recipe uses white wine (which is my favorite), the addition of bourbon and cinnamon puts a warm, sultry spin on this sangria that seems perfect for warm summer nights.
I love a recipe that is easy to make, and this one is easy! I’ve used an inexpensive wine (under $10.00) in this Sangria because…well it’s Sangria!!! Blood oranges are the star here, but I have tried this with naval oranges, and they make a lovely sangria also.
Ingredients:
Two (750) bottles of white wine (I used a Sauvignon Blanc but a Pinot Gris, which be great too).
2 cups blood orange juice- 8 oranges
2 cups pomegranate juice
1 cup of Bourbon
1 cup of Triple sec
3 whole cinnamon sticks
2 large sprigs of fresh rosemary
2 blood oranges
Instructions:
This Sangria is the perfect recipe for a crowd because it can be made ahead.
This recipe makes 6-8 yummy servings.
Looking for some pretty glassware? I have gathered some of my favorites here.
Let me know what you think of this recipe! It’s one of my favorites and I love to serve it for picnics.
Until Next Time,
-Libbie

This sounds very yummy! I love enjoying a pitcher of sangria with friends on the deck in the summer so this recipe will be added to our drink list.
oooh – sounds interesting!!
I have made a few sangrias and really have started loving them. I’m not a huge wine drinker so having more of that fruity taste is great. So good for a group too.
That sounds sooooo good, Libbie. I can almost feel the my taste buds doing a little happy dance in anticipation 😀
I love blood orange! This looks awesome. Thanks for sharing at the What’s for Dinner party. Hope the rest of your week is amazing!
