Happy National Cocktail Day! I thought I would pop in and share a Springtime favorite of mine—a Refreshing Lemon-Lime Sangria.
Are you a fan of Sangria? White wine sangria (Sangria with white wine as its base) is my favorite, especially this time of year.
Sangria is made with Wine (typically red), fruit, and a sweetener. Often it will also contain a liqueur. It is sweet (yay for those with a sweet tooth) and can be served over ice like a punch. The alcohol content varies somewhere between 7 and 10%.
This is sooooo easy. It’s a dump-and-run cocktail that is perfect for a party.

Don’t skip the mint. The mint adds a refreshing flavor combined with the lemons and lime, and the soda adds just hints of bubbles.
Inexpensive wine is perfect for Sangria! The fruit and added ingredients will change the wine, so save that special bottle for later.
Although you can serve this recipe immediately, the longer the Sangria sits, the better the flavors mix and taste.
How easy is that?
White Sangria is delicious with many types of dishes. A rich, creamy pasta is fantastic and my personal favorite, but you could also try:
