Welcome, friends! I’m thrilled to share my Holiday Home Tour with you today. This season, I didn’t have a specific theme in mind when I began decorating, but I found myself drawn to all things natural – textures, live greenery, woods, plants, and raw materials. And I’m so glad I followed my instincts, resulting in a cozy, calming, and aesthetically pleasing neutral and natural look.
Today, you’re in for a delightful treat. My dear friend Kelly from The Tattered Pew has organized an annual Holiday Home Tour featuring 30 fellow bloggers showcasing their festively decorated homes. It’s an event I look forward to every year, as it’s brimming with inspiration! If you’re joining me from Cecilla’s My Thrift Store Addiction, a warm hello! I adore all of her vintage Christmas décor.

Let’s get started!
Entryway
I have a thing for trees. 🙂 And these neutral and textured trees are a few of my favorites. This year, I decided to place them where everyone would see them as they come in. The little wool trees add so much texture!
I used fresh greenery (yay for Trader Joe’s) and peace garland to frame the mirror.
Usually, I put a small live tree in our bedroom. I love how romantic it feels with all the twinkling lights. This year, we refreshed the main bedroom for the One Room Challenge, and I just wasn’t ready to start moving things around. My husband surprised me by asking if I would put up a small tree, and I thought maybe a few small festive touches wouldn’t hurt.
Probably not the tree he was expecting. 🙂 I did mention how much I love trees, right?!? I love that these bring in that touch of nature for the holidays.
Now, on to the main event.
I am a fresh tree girl from way back. Douglas Fir, to be exact. I switched it up this year after seeing this Norway Fir at the lot. Because It’s not quite as dense as the Douglas Fir, it really shows off the individual ornaments, but holy smokes, those needles are SHARP! Several of the ornaments this year are handmade. You can see a few here.
I ordered a few holiday prints from Etsy and framed them for the Art Wall. This is an easy and inexpensive way to add a festive touch. A quick tip: I use the same frames all year round and print the sizes that fit the frames I already have. It makes the process quick and allows me to concentrate on the art images.
I framed the French doors to the lake with fresh garland (again, Trader Joe’s) and some pretty paper Peace Doves I got from Etsy.
My newest addition to my tree collection is these feather trees.
I made a centerpiece from moss and a dough bowl for the dining table.
And added a bowl of pomegranates and greenery for pops of color.
You can shop several of the items in this post at my new Amazon Store Front.
I hope you enjoyed my neutral and natural home tour. Next up on the holiday home tour is my friend Lynn from Living Large in a Small House. I adore her style, and I am sure you will, too!
Be sure to check out others on the tour this week.
Until next time,
Libbie
