Hey Friends, I am sharing an embarrassingly easy 4th of July cocktail recipe today. I served these at the Lake last year over the week of 4th of July and had so many guests commenting about how festive and yummy they were, that they begged my husband to pick up more ingredients! • Frozen Bomb Pops (those classic red, white, and blue popsicles!)
  • Processco (or your favorite white sparkling wine)
  • Fresh Strawberries or Blueberries would work too.
  • Optional: Gold Sugar for rimming
  • Optional: A few ice cubes if you like it extra chilly

  • Slice your strawberries and slide a few pieces onto straws for a pretty garnish.
  • Pour Prosecco into your prepared glasses.
  • Gently place a Bomb Pop into each glass.
  • Watch the colors swirl and enjoy the fizzy magic!

Did you know that adult popsicle cocktails are a trend? They are sometimes called “poptails”. I made a Frozen Blackberry-Lime Margartia Poptail here.

Summer Cocktail Ideas: Fun Popsicle Prosecco Variations

Loving the popsicle prosecco idea? There are so many fun ways to get creative with this concept all summer long! The possibilities are endless, but here are six delicious variations to get you started:

  • Berry Blast: Use a mixed berry popsicle, and for a touch more sweetness, you can add a little grenadine.
  • Tropical Escape: Grab a pineapple or mango popsicle. A squeeze of fresh lime and an actual mint sprig will make it incredibly refreshing.
  • Aperol Sparkle: For fans of a classic, add 2 oz of Aperol to your glass before adding the prosecco and popsicle. It’s a delightful twist!
  • Peachy Delight: Swap in a peach popsicle for a summery, Bellini-inspired sip.
  • Watermelon Wonder: A watermelon popsicle makes for a truly refreshing treat, especially if you add a small piece of fresh basil.
  • Creamsicle Fizz: For a nostalgic treat, try using an orange cream bar popsicle. It adds a delightful creamy sweetness! And my personal favorite!!
