A quick and easy tropical tablescape

I am so excited to be joining some blogging friends for their monthly Virtual Supper Club!

This month’s theme is Luau, and after waiting a VERY long time for summer to arrive here in Michigan, I am all in!

Plus, you all know I am about a pretty table setting.

Today I am sharing how to make a quick and easy tropical tablescape thanks to Trader Joe’s and the dollar store!

A Quick and easy tropical tablescape

I love a Trader Joe’s run.

First, let me say that the grocery store is my favorite place to scout materials for floral arrangements. I love using fruits, veggies, and greenery table settings.

The organic, natural feel of the color appeals to me.

Shop your grocery store for produce!

Pomegranates, Mangoes, and Pineapples are perfect for a tropical centerpiece.

I am keeping this table very simple.

I used organic items mixed with Trader Joe’s fresh-cut greens and a few fun surprises from the dollar store.

Add some pops of tropical color

I picked up some fun lei’s, the little tiki cups, and adorable flamingos from my neighborhood dollar store to add some fun.

Simply arrange your fruit on top of the greens- I also have a kids’ grass skirt underneath until you like the arrangement.

I then added the CUTE flamingos.

The monstera placemats are fun!

Beach Party

I also used my favorite disposable bamboo plates (they are great for the lake).

I used the Luau theme to surprise my husband with cruise tickets (Hawaii) for his upcoming 60th birthday!

We were dining on the beach….so casual is key.

How quick and easy was this tropical tablescape ?!?
