Being an avid reader my entire life, I believe books make the perfect gifts for just about anyone on your holiday gift list. I love sharing my favorite books as gifts at Christmas (any occasion, really, but especially Christmas). Here are the books I’m gifting this Christmas 2022.
Woot! Let’s get this book party started!
Note: If you buy something through these links, I may earn an affiliate commission or have a sponsored relationship with the brand at no cost to you. I recommend only products we genuinely like. Thank you so much.
I have three different book picks this season. The first is from my current favorite designer and fellow Grand Rapidian, Jean Stoffer. Establishing Home is filled with lovely pics of her gorgeous designs, and Jean tells her personal story so well I loved every minute of it.
Next up, I have and love this book by Leslie Saeta, A Home to Share. It’s perfect for your friend who loves a great craft and beautiful tablescapes.
Last on my list of favorite Design books is from Lauren Leiss. Feels Like Home I keep my copy of this book next to the tub. It’s so cozy; looking through it is like receiving a warm hug while wearing your favorite PJs and drinking a glass of wine.
A pretty coffee table book is always a great gift, and I love to use them for styling coffee tables or to leave them out at our short-term rentals for guests to flip through them. Wonderland by Annie Leibovitz (this is a signed copy) is perfect for both! Check out my gifting list from 2021 for more recommendations.
It was exciting to see that my favorite novel of 2022, Lessons in Chemistry, is being made into an Apple TV series, and Barnes and Noble named it one of the best books of 2022. This story has a strong female lead, and I am gifting it to my daughter and best friend!
I have a couple of friends that moved this year, and I love gifting great-themed gift baskets. So I will be filling a basket with a nice cocktail shaker set and a couple of recipe books. A few favorites: The Ultimate Bar book is filled with the classics and easy-to-make recipes. Death & Co is an excellent gift book for craft cocktails, and The art of Mixology is a good choice for those who enjoy a good mocktail.
I am happy dancing over this one! My husband is a huge Beatles fan, so it’s going into my husband’s stocking this year.
This series from Jory John is charming, and I adore the illustrations. There are several books in the series, and The Bad Seed, The Good Egg, and The Smart Cookie are all fantastic reads.
Any book by Mo Willems but especially Knuffle Bunny.
I’m sure I will find a few more books before now and Christmas, but this feels like a good start. If you have books you think I should add to my list, please let me know!
Until next time,
-Libbie
