Bathroom Remodel Reveal featuring a vintage vanity, green tile and Rose Gold Wallpaper.

We Finished!-Bathroom remodel reveal

The bathroom at our latest Mid-Term rental was in dire need of an upgrade. It turned into quite a project, but now it’s finished, and I am sharing the reveal of the bathroom remodel today.

Bathroom Remodel Reveal

Our bathroom had a basic tub/shower combo with a single vanity and toilet, so an eight-week timeline felt very doable. With that in mind, I signed up for the Fall 2022 One Room Challenge. You can see a few of my favorite One Room Challenge spaces here and here.

Hmmm, eight weeks quickly turned into three and a half months to complete. Yikes! We ran into everything from supply problems to permit delays and two separate water issues (both of which ended up causing additional repairs in other areas of the house).

So this is where we started.

Before Bathroom Remodel

Floor Tile

After removing everything from the bathroom, it was time to put it back together. The flooring went down first. We found this inexpensive tile from Home Depot and loved its 12 x 24 size. We put a similar tile into a previous remodel and love how it has held up.

Shower Tile

The shower tile went in next. It was an easy tile to work with, but we ended up being short two boxes because of shipping damages and struggled to find additional tile. It took four weeks, but the helpful people at Home Depot pulled inventory from several stores to make it work. The tile is Ethereal Aqua by Jeffrey Court Tile, and we love the beautiful blue-green color.

Wallpaper and Paint

I knew I wanted this bathroom to feel elevated, so I chose this beautiful Rose Gold Textured Wallpaper from A-Street Prints. It’s traditional wallpaper (my preference), and OH MY GOSH- the texture it added to this bathroom remodel is amazing!

Once the wallpaper was up, I painted all the trim and the door with Sherwin-Williams color of 2023 Resend Point SW 9081.

To add even more texture, I used pole wrap (easily found at big box stores) and added it to the back wall behind the toilet. It was a quick and easy accent wall.

Artfully Walls is one of my favorite sources for wall art, and I love this print!

Vanity and Sink

I found a small buffet on FaceBook Marketplace for $50.00 that was the perfect size for this bathroom.

The vanity was a perfect find with a few modifications. We found a sink on Wayfair and ordered the black faucet from Speakman.

That’s a wrap on our bathroom remodel reveal! I am LOVING the new vibe, and we will be listing the house soon as a mid-term rental. I am excited!
