Welcome to week three of the Jeffery Court Renovation Challenge.
If you have just found us, you can catch up with our kitchen renovation here.
This is a CONTEST so I really need your support!
You can vote for our Airbnb kitchen renovation here.
This is the week that while the wheels haven’t completely fallen off, they are wobbling like crazy.
We did start the backsplash, which is the good news, and the great news is I couldn’t love it more!
It is a beautiful blue distressed stripe and perfect for the coastal cottage vibe I was looking for.
The tile is Headwind Field tile from Jeffery Court and is available at Home Depot.
I tried a couple of different ways to lay the tile but kept going back to those gorgeous stripes.
We were making significant progress until our wet saw took a digger.
The wet saw has seen us through a few renovations, so we can’t say we didn’t get our money’s worth.
Because, none of our local stores had any stock, we had to order one.
It was supposed to arrive in a couple of days, but here we are on day five.
Still waiting; ugh.
Decided to move on to dry fitting the floors while we waited.
This tile makes my heart beat faster!
The floor tiles I choose are a polished marble called Suburbs by Jeffery Court and are available at Home Depot.
Don’t you just love the color variation in the stone?!?!?
It’s going to be so pretty with the backsplash.
We did work on a few other odds and ends like wall repair from the damage that occurred when we took off the old paneling.
And the HVAC people came and removed our baseboard system as we will be installing a new system soon.
We are most definitely falling behind.
Our appliances are running late, and we still have so much to PAINT!
If you could send some good vibes our way, I would certainly appreciate it!
OR even better, you could VOTE for us and then sign up for a text message reminder so you don’t forget.
Things still left to do:
Plus a few more I am sure I am not thinking of!
Did I remind you to vote for us? We’d love your support!!
That’s it until next week when I hope to have the tile finished.
Until then, a big thank you goes out to Jeffery Court for allowing us this opportunity, as well as Frogtape and Wagner for sponsoring the Jeffery Court Renovation Challenge.

See you next week!

Hi Libby!
Love the floor tiles, great shape! The wall tiles are going to look great too. We have to do a total remodel of our kitchen, eventually, but I love the tiles that they have for backsplashes now.
Ahh, waiting for supplies is always the killer! We experienced that with our wood floors last year.
I voted 🙂
Have a great week!
